COVID-19 Protocol Statement
In an effort to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 amongst our staff and athletes, the following measures will be taken:
1. All staff and athletes will receive a COVID-19 test upon arrival for check-in. If an individual test positive, they will be sent home and unable to participate in any team activities.
2. If an individual develops symptoms throughout the week, they will receive a COVID-19 test. If the test is positive, they will be placed in isolation and sent home immediately. They will be unable to participate in any further team activities. It will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian to coordinate pick up from Myrtle Beach.
3. All staff and athletes will be required to wear a mask while traveling on the bus to/from practice and meals.
4. If an individual is identified as a close contact to someone who tests positive (within 6 feet for a cumulative 15 min or more) they will be sent home UNLESS
They have been fully vaccinated and it has been at least 14 days since they completed the vaccine series AND they have not developed any symptoms
OR they have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 90 days and have not developed any new symptoms
If this happens, it will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian to coordinate pick up from Myrtle Beach and coordinate follow up care with their medical provider
**Although vaccination for COVID-19 is not required to participate, we do highly recommend it and ask that any individual who is vaccinated have a copy of their vaccination card to provide in the event they are identified as close contact to an individual who has tested positive.**
